New models at your local Mitsubishi dealer garner attention primarily with their design, powertrain, and safety technology, but the Mitsubishi infotainment system has several surprises of its own. An easy-to-use navigation system, a sophisticated mobile app, and remote garage door control are just some of the features linked to the center touchscreen.

MI-PILOT Assist Navigation

The 2024 Outlander and similar models offer an available advanced navigation system, MI-PILOT Assist. Live traffic updates allow the standard 8-inch touchscreen to display the closest or most convenient route to your destination, depending on your choice. The map is powered by TomTom and uses ADAS Map data such as road curves and speed limits. TomTom also assists with displaying speed limits for different roads accurately and stays up to date with over-the-air updates.

myQ Connected Garage

If you are worried that you left your garage door open, you can just park your vehicle and check it on the touchscreen. myQ Connected Garage is available on most models post-2018, including the new Outlander and Eclipse Cross. myQ Connected Garage, available with a monthly or annual subscription, allows you to check the status of, open, and close your garage door from the center touchscreen of your Mitsubishi.

Smartphone Connectivity

To stream audio inside the cabin, you can connect your smartphone to the in-car infotainment system via Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. If your phone is not compatible, you can still play your favorite songs using Bluetooth or USB. Connecting your phone is also a necessity to access most features like myQ on the touchscreen.

On new models like the 2024 Mirage, you can use Android Auto to dictate and send text messages, make phone calls, access maps without MI-PILOT Assist, and even view your favorite apps on the 7-inch touchscreen.

My MITSUBISHI CONNECT Mobile App  Mitsubishi offers the My MITSUBISHI CONNECT mobile app that provides access to several infotainment features on your phone while also enhancing the in-car entertainment system. You can perform basic functions that are otherwise exclusive to the center touchscreen, such as charge scheduling, dealer services, and climate control. Additionally, you can use your connected smartphone to access your vehicle’s safety services, including SOS Emergency Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, and Roadside Assistance in emergencies.

My MITSUBISHI CONNECT also offers hands-free operation features through Amazon Alexa. For example, you can disable or enable speed limit alerts, turn headlights on, get your current location, or even honk the horn using simple voice commands.
