Trim Levels of the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV

The base Outlander PHEV is the ES model, which is equipped with a twin AC electric motor and a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that provides 131 horsepower and 144 lb-ft of torque. This PHEV has a 20 kWh lithium-ion drive battery as well as a single-speed transmission for the front and rear wheels.


The ES has great performance capabilities, such as the 38-mile electric driving range. The gas-only engine offers a combined fuel economy of 26 MPG, while the PHEV motor has a combined efficiency of 64 MPGe. The total driving range for this PHEV is 420 miles.
